It’s another job complete for 1st Choice Industries. This time it’s in Hudson Florida.
Wal-Mart contracted with 1st Choice Industries to remove an old bank and retrofit the space with a new, modern Vision Center.
We’re really proud of the final product,” said Gary Simone, CEO and President of 1st Choice Industries. “Mo, Shannon, Chris and the entire team really stepped up to the plate and knocked this one out of the park.”
It’s important for Wal-Mart to keep the doors open during renovations, and 1st Choice works hard to make sure customers can do their shopping without having to worry about construction noise and dust.
“We do everything we can to remain invisible to the customer during renovation,” said Project Manger Maurice (Mo) Diaz. “We’ve worked on quite a few of these projects for Wal-Mart. We’re aware of their concerns, and we do everything in our power to make sure they’re satisfied. That means we work ‘behind the scenes’ so customers can enjoy their shopping experience without having to worry about us getting in their way or making a mess.”
There is no doubt it’s a total team effort to get the job done. From the front office to every subcontractor on the ground, it takes coordination, synchronization and scheduling awareness to make sure milestones are hit at the appropriate time.
“Chris Vanzant (on site Superintendent) did a fabulous job of keeping everything on track,” said Project Manager Shannon Vargas. “We also received some great advice from Project Manager Sandy Foote who works with Wal-Mart on many of these projects. It’s great to see it all come together and the final project to look so nice.”
